The Perfect Stay

It was a perfect stay - I came to Spain for work, but staying at Cortijo Nispero made me feel like being on vacation! Every night after coming home from work, two friendly dogs and a delicious dinner awaited me. The view and garden are beautiful, on my afternoon off I enjoyed a walk up the surrounding hills. Yvonne is a wonderful host and I hope to come back for either work or vacation.

Master Chef

A great place to relax and eat well! Yvonne is a master chef it seems and we were delighted to come home after a day at the beach and eat her wonderful 3-course creations. We were made to feel so at home and everything was provided for - including a great little information pack with directions and phone numbers to nearby sights. We will be visiting again!

Excellent Vintage

Cortijo Nispero was perfect for our ruby wedding anniversary. Excellent hostess and food. Can't wait to spread the word about a brilliant place to stay in the country. Thank-you.

Spanish hideaway

Just returned back to the dreadful english summer from the hills and sunshine of Cortijo Nispero. Beautifully clean and such a warm reception from our hostess, who really looked after us - plied us with georgous fresh food from her garden and even gave us towels to spend the last day at the beach with!! Easy to pop to the coast and a relief to come back to the peace and charm of this little casa rural. Thanks again, Janie and Kevin

5 Star

Just returned from 11 night stay at this most idyllic retreat in the middle of almeria. This 3 bedroomed guest house is situated in its own wonderful grounds with scenic views to die for. In the daytime one can use its pool and then relax in chairs, on beds or hammocks either in the sun or shade, whichever suits. In the evening after a superb meal cooked by the most attentive of hosts, one cannot imagine the calm, experieced by sitting on the patio with a beverage of ones own choice, watching the sunset and the goat herds on the hills returning home. The accommodation is A1, having immaculately appointed bedrooms with excellent views, a lovely snug lounge with sat t.v and woodburner, and a lovely dining room with doors opening onto the garden. All in all, for anyone wanting a get away from it all relaxing break, fantastic accommodation, food and drink; look no further this place will take a lot of beating.

A secret Treasure

A lovely place to unwind, stayed three days in August and went back again for our last night/day. Yvonne and Stephen very welcoming and Yvonne''s cooking is to die for. Just a beautiful place where you can stop the world for a few days. The sort of place you want to tell all your friends about but then maybe not because it''s a little treasure in the mountains you want to keep secret so there''s always a room spare for you :-) Brian & Sue
