We do not recommend using a Sat-Nav to find us as you may be directed a roundabout route that will take you much longer. We advise, perhaps only using it as far as J547 on the motorway, after that follow the instructions below. Please note, our nearest town is Arboleas and not Cantoria.
Directions to Cortijo Nispero are as follows:
From Almería Airport: approx 1 hour 30 mins journey
Take the exit road out of the airport signposted Almería/Murcia. You are going to get on the E15 motorway in the direction of Murcia.
Go straight over at the first roundabout.
Go straight over at the second roundabout, sign posted N344 Almería.
Go straight over at the third roundabout, sign posted E15/A7 Ronda de Almería/Murcia.
Travel for approx 2 km to the forth roundabout, go straight over signposted E15 Murcia.
At the fifth roundabout (immediately after the 3rd roundabout), go right on to the E15/A7 towards Murcia.
Note: Some car hire companies may be away from the airport site, we would suggest going back to the airport to start your journey to avoid getting lost.
Travel for approx 90 km (Note: the exit numbers should be going up, corresponding to km travelled).
Exit at junction 547* for A334 Albox/Baza.
At the roundabout on the slip road take the 3rd exit towards Albox/Baza on the A334.
Continue on the A334 towards Arboleas, after approx 8 km there is a diversion in place due to road works.
Follow diversion (through La Alfoquia for approx 6 km) until a temporary roundabout is reached at Arboleas (you should see a bridge on your left), take 3rd exit left over the road bridge into Arboleas.
At the roundabout (after the bridge) take the 3rd exit left for Zurgena.
Take the 1st right turn onto Arroyo Aceituno after approx ½ km. Note: Not the right turn at the Commercial Arboleas shop. Cortijo Nispero is 11.8 km** from here.
Note: After approx 1 km (of the 11.8 km above**) the road sweeps almost 90 degrees around to the left and also goes straight ahead (actually a right turn) into Arboleas town, stay to the left, passing the pine trees on your left and the new houses on your right.
Some land marks to 'tick' off: You will pass Cortijo Trinidad (big orange building) on your right, travel through Los Carrascos (after 3 km), Los Huenvanillas (after 7 km) and eventually passing a bar (on your left) with the Mahou sign outside after 9 km.
At 11.8 km** you should see the Cortijo Nispero sign on your right-hand side attached to a street lamp, turn right here - there is a sign for Los Patrocinios on your right as you turn into the road (not visible until you have made your right turn though) and take the next immediate right (after 10 metres) by the yellow post box and pine tree into our hamlet. Cortijo Nispero is on your left-hand side.
From Murcia Airport: approx 1 hour 30 mins journey
When leaving the airport head for the motorway and join in the direction of Cartagena. After approx 5 - 10 mins take the junction sign-posted Almeria and follow signs AP-7 (A-7). Follow the toll road south for approx 110km to junction 911 and exit onto the E15/A7 following signs for Murcia NOT Almeria. Drive north and exit at junction 547* off the E15 and follow directions above to Cortijo Nispero. The toll is approx 12 euros.
From Alicante Airport: approx 2 hours journey
Follow the signs for E15 and join the motorway in the directions of Almeria. Exit at junction 547* off the E15 and follow directions above to Cortijo Nispero.
Travelling Back to Almeria Airport
Exit A334 onto the E15 towards Almeria.
Exit junction 456 for the Aeropuerto and follow the signs into the airport.
